Luna Piena is a musical journey between the Mediterranean one and the Atlantic proposal by an unpublished and original trio. The trio is formed by Massimo Cusato, Margarida Guerreiro and Peppe Platani. Massimo Cusato it is a italian percussionist and drummer, founder of the group Quartaumentata, that collaborated with, Massimo Ranieiri, Eugenio Benato, Niccoló Fabi, Simone Cristicchi, between others, being also director of the Festival of Sets to music Ethnic “Ai confini del Sud”. Margarida Guerreiro, portuguese singer of fado (national song of Portugal been born of currently sings with the project “Encores Fado” and “7 Sóis OrKestra”. Peppe Platani, italian guitarist, one of the founders and musician of the group “Quartaumentata”, that collaborated with Giorgio Gaslini and Frank Batiato. Of this I find is born a project musical with a natural sound, undressed of any construction or artificial structures, that absolute protagonist in concert becomes. A choice musical originating from the desire of mix without screens to true essence of some of the most beautiful italian, portuguese and south american songs, passing by Cape Verde. An unique and intimate journey that the “Luna Piena trio” constructed on the common land of deriving a musical and cultural identity of the South, where the three musicians join its different artistic experiences.
